There’s really no better way to enjoy a nice summer day than drinking an adult beverage with friends around a pool in the sun. Unfortunately, many of my favorite drinks cost me a lot of calories.
If you’re thinking about mixing up drinks for your friends this weekend, consider trying some of these drink recipes that taste great in moderation while keeping your calorie count down.
One of my favorite cocktails is a Bloody Mary, so I was pleased to see that this recipe is less than 80 calories per serving, and it’s filled with Vitamins C and A, potassium and folate.
Ingredients:
22 ounces of reduced-sodium V8
1 teaspoon horseradish
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:
