Finding motivation to stick to a workout routine can be a daunting task. It’s way too easy to skip a run so that you can sleep a little longer in the morning or relax on the sofa in the evening. Taking group classes makes it easier—you can put your workouts in your planner and have other people to hold you accountable—but joining a gym or going to a fitness studio can be expensive. But there’s a third option: Find one of the free group workouts that take place around Michigan. You’ll experience a combination of feeling frugal and fit while having fun and meeting people—what’s not to love?
