Our mission is to help everyone in Michigan get healthier from the inside out. We’re here to give you resources to help make more informed decisions about your nutrition, fitness, physical well-being, self-care, mental health and more.
We’re excited to announce we’ve launched a TikTok channel – @healthiermi – to bring our health and wellness content directly to the latest social media platform you may be scrolling.
On our TikTok, you’ll find tasty recipes, nutritious meal plan ideas, nifty kitchen hacks for cooking at home and healthy lifestyle tips. We’ll also be sharing mindfulness and mental health strategies, like ways to de-stress and relax.

We’ll showcase fun destinations to explore across the Mitten state, from accessible trails and dog-friendly beaches to community events and seasonal activities – all while getting in more steps and being active. We’ll also be helping to educate about common health myths, prevention tips for chronic conditions, health screening reminders and vaccinations to schedule. And if there’s a health trend that’s going viral, our health experts will help you understand if it’s right for you.
We look forward to connecting with you on TikTok! Follow us here: @healthiermi
